Depending on the rack you find, you may be able to fashion yourself an antler lucet (weaving fork).
Soften the antler by soaking it in water for a few days. Be sure to change the water daily or it will get rather rancid and smelly.After soaking the antler can be carved like wood. A utility knife has a nice sharp edge if you don’t have a good carving knife.A large (and somewhat primitive) lucet that is used for making cording.
