It is sewn up the back to make a tube then pinned at the top creating a neck hole and two armholes. It can be fancied up with broaches and a string of beads. Because I didn\u2019t actually make the fabric, it was a gift from a dear friend who adored weaving and creating patterned work. I am more of a woven band type weaver and so, I tablet wove the trim and added it to the garment. Not sure if it is any less bulky than sewing a seam and then turning the ends in.
