We have a pickup truck that we use to go to camping events. We made two sword boxes that are used to put all of our gear in for transport. We take a canvas tent in one of them and general-purpose stuff in the other. When we get to the event, these get transformed into dry food boxes and benches for people to sit on around our table. They are made from 1/2-inch construction grade plywood and stained dark Jacobean with some clear coat for weather protection.
